Getting started
Select multiple files and choose their order. A new selection replaces the previous list. Prefixes and suffixes are added before the extension. Find-and-replace is literal, case-sensitive and replaces every match in the base name; an empty find field makes no replacement. Optional numbering adds a number and hyphen at the beginning.
IMG_2.JPG with prefix trip-, start 1 and three digits becomes 001-trip-IMG_2.JPG. The JPG extension stays intact. Inspect each preview row, save the ZIP, then extract it and check names and file count. This tool creates copies rather than renaming files in their original folder.
Rules and limits
Up to 200 files and 100 MiB total. Folder paths are not retained. The ZIP bundles files without compression or password protection. Path separators, control characters, reserved device names such as CON, trailing dots/spaces and names exceeding 255 UTF-8 bytes are rejected. Names use Unicode NFC; case-only differences also count as collisions. ZIP times are written using UTC; not all filesystem metadata is preserved.
Troubleshooting
For collisions, enable numbering or adjust prefixes and replacement rules. Remove invalid characters and check the output names again. Changing rules or cancelling during ZIP creation discards the old result. If reading fails, ensure the originals are available and select them again. Reset or reload requires selecting files again. Check device storage and browser download settings if saving is blocked.
