Getting started
Enter a one-way distance and unit, then your vehicle’s fuel economy and a pump price. Choose one way or round trip and, if needed, how many people share the cost.
Rules and limits
Estimated fuel is the total distance multiplied by fuel use normalized to liters. Estimated cost is fuel multiplied by your entered price, rounded to the selected currency’s smallest unit. MPG distinguishes U.S. and Imperial gallons.
This calculation uses only the distance, fuel economy, and price you enter. It does not check vehicle-specific real-world efficiency, fuel type, local prices, route, traffic, elevation, weather, or driving style. The result is not an actual fill-up or payment amount.
